City Halls across the U.S. are frequent sights for historical stained glass. Look at the beautiful stained glass Bovard Studio restored for Minneapolis City Hall. We restored timeless Ford Brothers Glass Co. windows, including the rotunda window. The multi-plated windows were fully re-leaded in the style of Tiffany stained glass windows. We are honored to provide these windows with stronger protection against the elements for future enjoyment.
Building Stronger Windows for Stained Glass
Restoration continues on the magnificent stained glass windows for Lisbon United Methodist Church. Look at the size of the “Good Shepherd” panel that is undergoing the restoration process. After the restored panels are complete, we will be re-installing them along with our replacement 6000 Series Aluminum US Patented Precision Flow® Vented Perimeter Framing with wood cladding on both the interior and exterior sides of the new aluminum frame.
Their original frame was destroyed the 2020 derecho that struck the mid-west with 140 mph winds. Our 6000 series frames have been tested and approved, when used with hurricane code heat strengthened .090 laminated glass, for maximum US hurricane codes.
Moline's Sacred Heart Church Aglow Again
Our restoration of the majestic windows at Sacred Heart in Moline is coming to completion. Look at these finished interior shots that show the scale of the ambitious project. Thirty-two windows were meticulously releaded and brought back to their full luminosity. Formed in 1906, the church is a historic building of Moline designed by Zachary Taylor Davis, who also designed Wrigley Field.
