Stained Glass Restoration in Ohio

Here are some of the amazing Connick windows that were re-leaded for full restoration. These were designed in 1954 and are from Christ Church in Glendale, OH. We also have a Tiffany window from the same church that we will restore. The intricate pieces of the glass color and hand-painted details are typical of Connick windows.

Serene Forest Scene in Stained Glass

Bovard Studio artists and crafts people made two new original art stained glass windows with light boxes for Fort Madison Iowa Community Hospital. This serene scene uses dappled opalescent glass and other organic glass textures to bring it to life. Every element from the design to the light box was built in-house.

St. Cecilia in Stained Glass

Another stained glass window beautifully restored by Bovard Studio for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL. This window features St. Cecilia, patron of music and musicians, holding a portative organ.

Enthralling Custom Stained Glass

Bovard Studio custom designed, painted, crafted, and installed six full-figure stained glass windows for Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church in Byers, CO in 2012. The figures are painted in multiple firings to achieve depth and the architectural border provides a traditional framing element.

Limitless Possibilities in Bovard Stained Glass

The panoramic Nativity window Bovard Studio custom created for Waterloo Westminster Church in Iowa covers the entire length of the church. It is mirrored by another lengthy series of panels featuring Creation. The church hosts a number of windows that the studio has designed and built over the years, bathing the interior with a kaleidoscope of colors throughout the day. The Holy Spirit Window in particular bathes the front of the sanctuary in light because of its unique angle. We take pride in complete and world-class stained glass services from concept to installation.

Bovard Windows Stand the Test of Time

Bovard Studio frames and protective coverings for stained glass stand the test of time. Look at the windows today that we restored and protected with glass protective covering for St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church in Roanoke, VA  15 years ago! Stained glass is most often viewed from the interior, but with high quality materials, they can be enjoyed from the exterior as well. Traditional stained glass windows often suffer from yellowing plastic protective coverings that obscures their beauty and intricacy and can be a symptom of other structural failure. We encourage you to contact us for a free consultation if you find yourself in this very predicament!

Stained Glass Jewels

If you find a stained glass window, take time to look at individual panels. Take for example the painted motifs in these restored panels Bovard Studio re-leaded for Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Jacksonville, FL. Through heavy applications of paint, there are striking stained glass jewel tones that add vibrancy to the ornate acanthus and foliage patterns. Bovard Studio has a rich history of restoring and protecting these stained glass gems.
