Elegant Contemporary Windows of Saint Columba
The gracefully elongated windows of the Cathedral of Saint Columba in Youngstown feature the designs of Andrew R. Maglia that Bovard Studio restored. Maglia formed a nationally-renowned studio in Detroit, Michigan after emigrating from Italy. The swooping lines in his figures are perfectly adapted to the medium of stained glass.
Protecting Churches Against Natural Disaster
The new frames and protective covering Bovard Studio fabricated and installed for St. Michael’s in Kingsley, Iowa look stunning on the church’s exterior. 40+ windows received our 1400 Series vented perimeter US Patented frames with exterior glazing designed for the preservation of stained glass windows.
Serene Forest Scene in Stained Glass
Bovard Studio artists and crafts people made two new original art stained glass windows with light boxes for Fort Madison Iowa Community Hospital. This serene scene uses dappled opalescent glass and other organic glass textures to bring it to life. Every element from the design to the light box was built in-house.
St. Cecilia in Stained Glass
Another stained glass window beautifully restored by Bovard Studio for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL. This window features St. Cecilia, patron of music and musicians, holding a portative organ.

Louis Tiffany’s masterpiece, The Good Shepherd, was exhibited in the 1893 at the World Columbian Exhibition and contains some of the finest glass produced by his company. This window was purchased in 1896 by Judge D. N. Cooley’s family and was installed as a memorial to him and his wife at St. Luke’s Church. Bovard Studio was selected to restore this historic Tiffany in 2002.

Our custom designed transom window for St. Leo in Demopolis, AL continues to manifest. Tina is working skillfully on the many layers of painting on the stained glass. The border pieces and textural details work harmoniously to match the style of the existing windows it emulates.
