The panoramic Nativity window Bovard Studio custom created for Waterloo Westminster Church in Iowa covers the entire length of the church. It is mirrored by another lengthy series of panels featuring Creation. The church hosts a number of windows that the studio has designed and built over the years, bathing the interior with a kaleidoscope of colors throughout the day. The Holy Spirit Window in particular bathes the front of the sanctuary in light because of its unique angle. Restoring Historical Stained Glass in Davenport
Although not as common household names as “Tiffany”, the work of skilled stained glass artists who learned their craft working for Louis Tiffany, incorporated his methods as glass plating, rose to prominence in the same era. Bovard Studio restored such windows for First Presbyterian Church in Davenport, IA, which demonstrates the elegant use of opalescent glass found in early twentieth century liturgical windows.

Uncovering Stained Glass Splendor with New Protective Covering
The before and after photos at First Presbyterian Church in Hastings, NE show how old window coverings can yellow over time, obscuring the brilliance of the stained glass. We installed our 1400 Series frames on 80 windows, transforming the quality of the exterior and interior experience of these beautiful windows. In addition, we built a new leaded stained glass rose window and frame to complement style of existing windows.
Historic Stained Glass Shines for Decades to Come
Bovard Studio restored the richly patterned stained glass windows at Grace Church Cathedral in Charleston, SC. Our 3750 frame with custom cladding was custom made for their prominent window at the front of the cathedral. These historic windows display a range of American manufactured stained glass from 1912-1941. 30 gothic windows were restored, including several full re-leaded windows. Our 1430S Series protective coverings with patented Precision Flow® ventilation system will keep them shining for generations to come.
