Each project is carefully documented and photographed to provide the production team with important details like lead width and paint details. We make every effort to retain and repair original pieces to respect the integrity of the original stained glass window but our artists can recreate pieces if the damage cannot be repaired. Bovard Studio custom designed, painted, crafted, and installed six full-figure stained glass windows for Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church in Byers, CO in 2012. The figures are painted in multiple firings to achieve depth and the architectural border provides a traditional framing element.

Take a look at the windows we have worked on and installed in the past for Lisbon. The current church facility dates to 1898 and is receiving restoration by Bovard Studio on several elegant stained glass windows severely damaged by this winter’s Derecho .
