Elegant Contemporary Windows of Saint Columba

The gracefully elongated windows of the Cathedral of Saint Columba in Youngstown feature the designs of Andrew R. Maglia that Bovard Studio restored. Maglia formed a nationally-renowned studio in Detroit, Michigan after emigrating from Italy. The swooping lines in his figures are perfectly adapted to the medium of stained glass.

Our custom designed transom window for St. Leo in Demopolis, AL continues to manifest. Tina is working skillfully on the many layers of painting on the stained glass. The border pieces and textural details work harmoniously to match the style of the existing windows it emulates.

A new custom stained glass transom window of St. Leo is underway. We have selected light shades of antique glass to work for the interior setting. Gradual layers of paint will be added by hand and kiln-fired in the traditional method.

Restored Glass Brightens The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi  in Santa Fe has a long history with its parish first built of adobe in 1610. The parish underwent many construction developments with the current facility dedicated in 1887. Bovard Studio restored stained glass windows for the church as well as develop completely new custom windows, including the dove and Santo Niño windows pictured.

Restored Stained Glass for St. Joseph Heights, Covington, KY

Bovard Studio restored stunning windows for the historical St. Joseph Heights of Sisters of Notre Dame in Covington, KY, which broke ground in 1926. Bovard studio re-leaded and installed our US Patented vented protective coverings designed for the preservation of stained glass windows. The facility houses 17 detailed liturgical windows produced by the prestigious F. X. Zettler Company in Munich, Bavaria.

New Windows Bring Light and Life to St. Bruno Catholic Church

New full figure stained glass windows meet their final destination at St. Bruno’s Catholic Church in San Bruno, CA. These tall, narrow windows were designed and crafted by Bovard Studio’s talented stained glass artists and craftspeople.  They portray a total of twelve saints with corresponding quotes all installed into new Bovard Studio US patented 4000 series vented frames with insulated laminated glass exterior glazing for earthquake codes.
