New Stained Glass Transom Window for Alabama Church
A new custom stained glass transom window of St. Leo is underway. We have selected light shades of antique glass to work for the interior setting. Gradual layers of paint will be added by hand and kiln-fired in the traditional method.

Painting Custom Windows for Danville, CA
Our artists are hard at work painting pieces for a new stained glass window featuring the Catholic Church’s recently canonized couple, Saints Louis and Zelie Martin. Every glass detail is under careful scrutiny as is needed before their permanent place in a leaded matrix. Flowers in Stained Glass
To celebrate spring, we bring to you a floral stained glass window design that Bovard Studio custom made for St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Warsaw, IN. In the style of Louis Tiffany, with two layers of plating, the window brings together opalescent glass and organic textures that bring to life the essence of the landscape depicted. We have restored Tiffany windows with up to 7 layers of stained glass plated together.
The Saints Come Marching In
The saints keep marching in for our series of custom windows we designed for St. Bruno in California. Depicted is the hand-painted process for several figures. Before the building can begin, each saint window requires traditional painting for the faces, hands, clothes, and accessories.
Custom St. Francis Stained Glass Window
St. Francis with pigeon in hand is delicately rendered by Bovard Studio’s paint department. This new custom window underway is one of a series of 12 saint windows currently under construction for a church in San Bruno, CA.
More Progress in Custom Stained Glass: Edisto Island, SC
Our custom stained glass windows look great in the natural light! Two more windows are completed for our clients in Edisto Island. The blue plating on the figures in the wedding of Cana gives the couple just the right hue to blend with the cool background colors. Also note the heron in the miraculous catch of fish, where our painter expertly matched the painted orange on the face with the orange glass of the beak!
