This serene scene uses dappled opalescent glass and other organic glass textures to bring it to life. Every element from the design to the light box was built in-house.

Bovard Studio custom designed, painted, crafted, and installed six full-figure stained glass windows for Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church in Byers, CO in 2012. The figures are painted in multiple firings to achieve depth and the architectural border provides a traditional framing element.

The panoramic Nativity window Bovard Studio custom created for Waterloo Westminster Church in Iowa covers the entire length of the church. It is mirrored by another lengthy series of panels featuring Creation. The church hosts a number of windows that the studio has designed and built over the years, bathing the interior with a kaleidoscope of colors throughout the day. The Holy Spirit Window in particular bathes the front of the sanctuary in light because of its unique angle. A new custom stained glass transom window of St. Leo is underway. We have selected light shades of antique glass to work for the interior setting. Gradual layers of paint will be added by hand and kiln-fired in the traditional method.
